Team

JOYNED is powered by a team of embedded systems and networking experts with a shared passion for audio. Many of us are musicians and engineers ourselves. That passion informs everything we do — from designing protocol stacks and integration workflows, to contributing to the very standards that define the future of networked audio.

  • Fabian Braun - Founder & CEO

Fabian has been part of the Milan initiative from the very first hour, helping shape its foundations as a reliable, open audio networking standard. Before founding JOYNED, he worked at d&b audiotechnik, where he contributed to some of the industry's most innovative audio systems. With a deep background in embedded systems, networking, and professional audio, Fabian has become a driving force in bridging the gap between cutting-edge technology and everyday usability. As a guitarist and audio enthusiast, he ensures JOYNED’s solutions serve both engineers and artists with equal impact.

  • Morten Lave - CTO

Morten is a long-time contributor to the AVB/TSN and Milan standards, and a recognized voice in the evolution of professional audio networking. With decades of experience in embedded software and as former CEO of TC Applied Technologies, he has helped define the architecture behind modern, deterministic networked audio systems. As CTO at JOYNED, Morten leads our technical vision — building solutions that are robust, interoperable, and aligned with the real-world needs of manufacturers and users.

  • Christian G. Frandsen - Product Expert

Christian brings decades of experience from his time at TC Electronic, where he worked at the intersection of pro audio product development, audio performance and methods, and user experience. With a dual background in embedded systems engineering and sound engineering, he understands both the technical demands of manufacturers and the practical needs of users. At JOYNED, Christian works closely with manufacturers and users alike — ensuring that every solution we deliver fits seamlessly into professional workflows.
